Tour Itinerary

Labuan Bajo – Kelor Island – Rinca Island –Kanawa island – Labuan Bajo
In the time we agreed, our guide will pick you upand take you to the central harbour of Labuan Bajo to get the motorized wooden boat/speed boat to start the tour. We visit Kelor Island.

On Kelor Island we will take a small boat to the shore.  A climb up to the top of this peak takes only about 10 minutes and offers stunning views of the topography of the area.  After the hike, guests are invited to enjoy the secluded beach with swimming and snorkling activities available. Afterwards, we visit Rinca Island for the wild life trekking.

On Rinca Island guests have their first opportunity to encounter the famous komodo dragons.  The main boat will moor in the picturesque inlet and then take the small tender to the pier where they will register and join up with a local park ranger.  A short (one hour), medium and long trek is available, the longest taking approximately two hours.  The dragons are more usually encountered around the village and ranger station but guests will also follow the ranger in a quest to encounter them on the hike.  Water buffalo, wild pigs, deer and other wildlife feature heavily on these walks. When your activity on this Island is done, you will return back to the boat and visit Kanwa Island.

Kanawa island offers a beautiful white sandy beach to relax upon.  This is also an excellent area for snorkling with impressive coral outcrops and an abundance of tropical fish. Thereafter, return to Labuan Bajo for your next program.
